RELAXING IN EZE

RELAXING IN EZE

Polaroid in: dress from COS, sunglasses from Zara, artisan straw bag

Got to spend a day in this hilltop village that gives you the best view on the Azure, that’s the coastline of course. As you can see I embraced the straw bag trend which did not affect me until a few months ago… now I own two of them, couldn’t resist. They are nice both during holidays and in the city, as it can give a twist to the basic jeans and shirt look ( what I go for the most when I am in the office, boring. )

WHEN IN ANTIBES

WHEN IN ANTIBES

Antibes-Juan les Pins is one of the most well known locality on the Cote d’Azur. Located between Nice and Cannes, the city manages to be a historic town but it’s also very innovating, having multiple facets to see and explore.

As I really enjoy spending my summer holidays in the south of France I though this not-so-little city, I’ve never been to before,  would be an amazing reality to explore. It was indeed. All the instagram posts about it and its beauty were right.

Cap d’Antibes can be really defined as a small piece of paradise. I suggest you take Le Sentier du Littoral, a path which follows the coastline and takes you into this immense park, scrupulously maintained. There also quite a few millionaires chateau and dream residences there. After the walk, I highly suggest you to relax and have a drink in one of the beach resorts that welcomes you after the walk.

You surely don’t have to miss a walk within the old town of Antibes, which looks like it hasn’t changed much for centuries. There’s a maze of narrow streets, overlooked by pastel-coloured buildings with colourful shutters. There are nice pavement cafés and restaurants mixed in with shops selling lots of artisan products.

Also don’t miss the Marché Provençal which can be found daily, where traders from around Provence bring fresh produce to sell – fruit and vegetables, cheeses, olives, spices and also natural soaps.

While searching for a studio, Pablo Picasso came across the Château Grimaldi. In 1946 he started to work there. Now it offer a selection of works he himself offered to the museum. There you can also see different art pieces by Nicolas de Staël, Hans Hartung and Anna-Eva Bergman.

Having dinner with feet deep in the sand is definitely always a nice experience. That’s what you can do in all the Juan Les Pins resorts. Juan Les Pins is one considered the most cheerful part of the city, with an exciting always-present nightlife where night owls can totally find plenty of pubs, restaurants and casinos.

CPH SS19

The August edition of the Copenhagen Fashion Week, which is the largest fashion week among the Nordic regions, just ended. It is one of those I always enjoy and in which there is always some new designers that draw the attention the most. The nordic style is not really for everyone, but once you start to understand and enjoy it.. then it’s always source of big inspiration for the everyday attire choices.

Here below some of the runaways I enjoyed the most, in which floral patterns and both loose and voluminous structures seem to be the common points.

BAUM UND PFERDGARTEN

The sporty vibes, part of the essence of the brand, are being mixed with more romantic and vintage shapes that are currently sweeping the fashion world. Loved how the brand used the flower print in various shades from blue, green, purple to yellow and pink. Also, is all about check prints including prince of wales and gingham. Amazing.

CECILIE BAHNSEN

This is how I see myself strolling around the next year. Romantic and feminine with voluminous shapes, large puff sleeves and bell-shaped skirts in colored lace – lime, rose, baby blue and navy; or rose, white and yellow. A summer dream for sure.

MUNTHE

A runaway I totally loved, full of must-haves: from see-through shirts to dresses with flowing ruffles and ample sleeves, that gives a relaxed and laid back feeling. Totally inspired, as the designer herself said, to the fauna of Bali.

STINE GOYA

The perfect catwalk for everyone who loves floral pattern, medium length shirts, the art of combining patterns and layers.. like me. Styling definitely played a vital role in getting that edgier and somehow retro message across the show.
