Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil by Nuxe
Since buying it in the early spring months, this multifunctional dry oil created in 1991 by the French brand Nuxe, I am able to understand the hype around this product that can be found in every French girl’s medicine cabinet. As they always say.
It is intended to work between body, face and hair. It’s packed with vitamin E and six different plant oils, including macadamia and St. John’s Wort. Important to note is that it is also silicone-free. One thing I really like about the oil, is totally its smell that reminds me of a mix between camellia and almond oil. You just need the littlest amount of product, both if you are using it on your air and on your skin, in which I’ve noticed the smell stays for such a long time.
A product that should be found in every girl’s medicine cabinet, not just in the French girls ones.

I’ve always been the kind of girl who loves to play with her hair, changing lengths, color and style. During the last year, after going back to being a brunette ( tried a lot to be a blondie but always came back to my old self) and making my fringe grow out, I haven’t done anything new. So now I am here thinking about cutting them short, like in the pictures, just to change and spice things up a bit.
Santa has been good this year! As you saw from the pics I’ve got the newest perfume launched by Gucci, that’s called Bloom. Just reading its name you can really get its floral vibes, in fact it has notes of jasmine, tuberose and rangoon creeper, that’s a Chinese honeysuckle. A mix that won me over since the first time I got to smell it, so you can understand who happy I was when I saw this! It’s not easy to describe, as it is different from every other floral perfumes I have ever tried, included the other Gucci’s; you have to smell it and then you’ll understand what I am talking about right now!
But it’s not just about the perfume itself, the packaging its also so nice and catchy. From the bottle that’s light pink with fine lines (it somehow makes me think of old perfumes containers with a twist of modernity) to the outside box that has an amazing red and white pattern with flowers, leaves, little branches and butterflies.
So thumbs of for Alessandro Michele’s first perfume with Gucci! Do you guys like it? let me know!
I first got to hear about these two products above quite a few months ago now, while visiting my aunt in the middle of the Italian hills. In fact she’s the one who introduced me to this shampoo and mask, suggesting I’d try them since she absolutely adore the brand and uses its products all the time.
She was right, I find them almost perfect for my hair. I have quite normal hair, nor thick or fine, and rather straight so that sometimes I tend to use the straightener ( ghd is the best in the market guys!! ) to style them a little better and to fix the wildest locks.
So, let’s talk about the products! They both are from the Medavita’s collection called “Huile d’Étoile” that has an amazing formula with four different oils: Sacha Inchi Oil, Moringa Oil, Cyperus Oil, Linseed Oil. Their combinations makes your hair silky and light, that is what I search the most when looking for hair products as my hair tends to weight down really easily and quickly.
Moreover I don’t need to use my straightener or oils that often when I use them and that’s totally a plus!
Will surely keep you posted if I am going to try out new products from this brand.
Back on mothers day, on May 14th, I was lucky enough to be chosen between twenty lucky Facebook users who each won one of the Magicstripes‘s “Magic box” that includes all of their seven masks and their eyelid lifiting patches.
I’ve already tested a couple of their masks, like the hyaluronic intensive treatment mask, which I’ve tried after a long day at the beach – and voilà me and my skin felt much better afterwards.
The other week I felt like my skin needed some extra love, so I’ve settled down for the Magnetic Youth Mask, which I believe is still their last addiction to the family.
It’s a one piece mask, really easy to apply. As soon as it’s settled on your skin it does feel soft and does not cause itchiness, as it says in their website its “skin-friendly”. It’s quite easy to walk around with it even because this one dries quite fast on your skin so at the end of the thirty minutes it will be almost fully dried. I generally opt for a relaxing half an hour with a cup of tea and some TV shows.
After thirty minutes it’s time to remove the mask and believe me, your face feels really healthy, refreshed, moisturized and soft. You can totally feel and see the difference! Furthermore there is a lot of extra liquid from the mask in the package, which I do use after I’ve applied the mask itself rubbing it over my face and chest area.
You can also check my Instagram picture, in which I’m posing with it on 😉
As I suspected this product is amazing. Totally recommended. And as I have a couple of other products from Magicstripes to try, let me know if you want to have other reviews in the comment section below!
Chanel Les Beiges nr. 23 / Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair
Could not resist so these two have been the latest addiction to my beauty slash makeup products!
Already tried the eye patches and honestly felt so disappointed about them: they don’t give you any kind of hydration or benefits, it was just like I never put them on. Furthermore, it’s not easy to mix the patches and the liquid but that’s actually not the main problem as you probably already understood. So it’s sadly a fail.
On a nice note, I love the blush. Easy to apply and such a nice pinkish shade. Approved!
