IT’S PARTY SEASON

IT’S PARTY SEASON

It’s almost mid December now. This means party season has officially started and this also means it’s time to start choosing the right and appropriate look to be the star of the said parties. Generally all we think about is glitter, sequins, satin, jewels and much more too.

Here below some of the the nicest pieces out there:

  1. GLOW DROPS,  Barbara Sturm – The name says it all, it’s a moisturizer able to give a healthy glow, that can be used over the makeup or combined with one’s skincare routine. How to be radiant shine keeping the skin hydrated.
  2. GOLD DIAMOND CLIP EARRING, Ole Lynggard Copenhagen – such an unique piece of of fine jewelry entirely handcrafted by a team of 45 smiths at the label’s atelier. This says it all, a piece able to make the whole look all by itself.
  3. OPEN BACK SEQUINED SATIN GOWN, Galvan – Long gown with opened back that will make everyone head’s turn.
  4. ASYMMETRIC SILK-SATIN SKIRT, Vince – Midi wrap-effect skirt with slit on the side. So elegant, simple but perfect paired with a oversized sweater and sparkling accessories.
  5. CINDY FEATHER&VELVET CLUTCH, The Volon – the perfect piece to leave hanging on your hand while you run to the next party.
  6. VINYL LIP LACQUER “AT FIRST SIGHT”, Nars – The ideal product to be on your lips, it can be worn both on bare lips or on another shade to add some shine. Can’t go wrong with some pearlescent gold shimmer.

What’s on your mind right now?

RAIN RAINS RAIN

RAIN RAINS RAIN

Raincoat from Rains / Top from Intimissimi / Bag from Mango / Beret from Zara

Fully enjoying my Rains apparel during these rainy days. Discovered the brand during my stay in Copenhagen and immediately fell for those rather simple yet with an amazing design and quality raincoats. Their range of products, that goes from coats to bags, and accessories are designed, of course, to withstand the stormiest of weather, all while speaking to the current trends.

Here below some of the styles I like the most.

Cool mix fabrics, structures and colors right?

SNACKS AND CHECKS

SNACKS AND CHECKS

All vintage!

Spent this Saturday strolling around Milano, between shops and museums. Funnily, my dear friend and I unpurposely matched with the checks pattern, that’s one of the ones I always enjoy to wear. Plaid, Prince of Wales heritage or tartan, checks in all their many forms are never out of date or boring.

Ended the afternoon at orsonero coffee, my new favorite café in the city.

FIRST GLIMPSE OF AUTUMN

FIRST GLIMPSE OF AUTUMN

t-shirt from Zara / vintage check shirt / slip-on sneakers from Vans  / vintage bag from Chanel

Clearly the glimpse of autumn is all in the leaves that makes this shots autumn-ish. Milano city is really still very hot, which is bad as we are already at the end of September and the need of shirts/ pulls / trench and leather jackets is becoming stronger and stronger. For now, the light t-shirt paired with black&white checked skirt with folds on the front are fine.

RELAXING IN EZE

RELAXING IN EZE

Polaroid in: dress from COS, sunglasses from Zara, artisan straw bag

Got to spend a day in this hilltop village that gives you the best view on the Azure, that’s the coastline of course. As you can see I embraced the straw bag trend which did not affect me until a few months ago… now I own two of them, couldn’t resist. They are nice both during holidays and in the city, as it can give a twist to the basic jeans and shirt look ( what I go for the most when I am in the office, boring. )
