THE HEADBAND MANIA

THE HEADBAND MANIA

Courtney Trop, Pernille Teisbaek, Flora Macdonald Johnston

Headbands are a thing right now. We have seen plenty of them, starting from the catwalks.. just think about the maxi volumed ones seen on the Prada’s SS19 runaway, amazing! Padded, satined, printed, with knots, pearls and bows. You can have fun with them, style basic outfit or give a plus to a night-out attire.

Below some on my faves right now.

Black velvet knotted headband embellished with hand sewn ivory pearls from Lele Sadoughi – Wide Satin headband from Prada – Knotted oversized rosette headband from Jennifer Behr – Hair band crafted with transparent sequins, beaded flowers and pearls from Simone Rocha

DINNER AT PLATO

DINNER AT PLATO

Sweater from Zoe Jordan

Last night I went out for dinner with my dear friend Beatrice at Plato, this literally relaxing and cozy restaurant in the heart of Milano. Loved it, both for the food, which is natural yet tasty, and the location. Can’t wait to go there in summer and enjoy the atmosphere in their sidewalks table.

I am in no way an expert when talking about skin-care products but I know and feel what is right for my skin. The ones pictured there are the latest products I added to my daily routine, which I actually really enjoy.

As already posted, Nuxe is one of the brands I go for ( their Huile Prodigeuse is an amazing must-have for both hair and skin ) so I decided to try-out their Nirvanesque soothing cream, made with peony and blue lotus seeds that helps the skin in being more relaxed and moisturized. It also else with the first wrinkles… it’s never too early! I generally use it during the morning but sometimes at night too.

During the last month I have been introduced to an Italian beauty brand called FaceD which I never really known before. I now use their fast anti-dark circles eye cream every morning, and it do help in opening and giving more light to the eye-area. I also added the pure plump hyaluronic acid that It’s a real boost of hydration for the skin.

Last but not least it’s the Hydra-Essentiel lip balm from Clarins. It’s a nice way of moisturizing and replenishing the lips during these winter months.
