Just back from easter holidays! Went for a full 5-days-escape to the beautifully cold Copenhagen. We checked-in and then went straight to explore the centre, I can say it is how I always expected it: cozy, full of nice streets, parks and places where to enjoy a coffee with a pastry or some traditional food.
It has exquisite shopping spots, marina life (I would recommend a boat tour to explore the canals), royal attractions and really fine art with a side of amusement thanks to the infamous and always full of people Tivoli Gardens. There it’s all about having fun with rides, musicals, ballets and food stalls.
Moreover you just have to take a 30 mins train ride to enjoy the countryside that’s full of treasures, such as the Frederiksborg slot or the Kronborg Slot, also known as the Amleto’s Castles. These are just two of the thousands things that can be visited of course 😉 Being Copenhagen just a short distance to Sweden, it’s nice idea to spend an afternoon strolling in Malmö.
Have you ever been to Copenhagen or Denmark? I will totally post more about some of my favorites spots in København!
